During fall 2022, contractor crews replaced the damaged girder on the 12th Street Bridge over Interstate 5 between Everett and Marysville. In addition to replacing the girder, part of the bridge deck and barrier were rebuilt.

Timeline: Fall 2022 - Fall 2023
We rehabilitated more than 3 miles of pavement, replacing broken panels and grinding the surface to eliminate ruts worn by decades of vehicles. In addition, we replaced expansion joints on four bridges. This project was combined with another rehabilitation project on I-90 to reduce costs.
