Manuals
Manuals provide policy and guidance to staff, local agencies, contractors, and consultants to help us deliver an efficient and effective multimodal system.
Our manuals are continuously updated with periodic revisions. Make sure you have the current version, regardless of the manual format or means of transmission. Manuals on this page are the most recent versions and can be downloaded and printed without charge.
Ordering printed manuals and publications
Agency employees need to place orders through WSDOT Printing Services using the internal order form (PDF 292KB).
Contractors, consultants, local agencies, and the general public can obtain printed copies of WSDOT’s most requested manuals and publications from the Washington State Department of Printing’s myPrint.

manufactured with at least 1/8 of an inch tread. Traction tires are usually marked with a mountain/snowflake symbol, the letters M+S or “All Season.”
