Washington State Ferries hosting virtual meetings on June 14 and 15, ahead of peak summer service
SEATTLE – Ferry riders, commuters and terminal neighbors are invited to attend one of two upcoming Washington State Ferries virtual public meetings to hear updates and ask questions about the ferry system.
New roadway surface coming to SR 7 in Tacoma and Spanaway this summer
Starting Monday, June 6, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will remove and replace almost 10 miles of worn asphalt on both directions of SR 7 in two separate work zones. Two work zones cover 10 miles starting near SR 507 and from SR 512 to South 38th Street.
SR 109 between Hoquiam and Ocean Shores reduced to one-way alternating traffic
Travelers who use State Route 109 between Hoquiam and Ocean Shores will want to plan for additional travel time. Until further notice, a 25-mph speed limit and one-way alternating traffic is in place approaching Grass Creek Bridge.
Three ferry routes back at pre-pandemic service levels for start of busy season
SEATTLE – May is the start of the busy travel season for Washington State Ferries.
