Purpose

State Route 900/Martin Luther King Jr. Way South in Skyway is a heavily-traveled commuter corridor with approximately 32,000 vehicles using this section each day. However, it lacks complete sidewalks for pedestrian connectivity between residences and community hubs. We are conducting a corridor study to assess pedestrian and traveler safety, multimodal access and environmental needs on SR 900 between 57th Avenue South and the Renton city limits. This study will document the community vision and strategies for improvements.
