What to expect

This project will include construction of two parallel elevated structures from south of Sprague Avenue to Alki Avenue and some minor paving along two blocks of Greene Street.

Construction will begin with bridge pier foundations near Alki Avenue and continue south to Sprague Avenue. There will be nighttime closures of Sprague Avenue to accommodate overhead bridge construction. Alki Avenue, Olive Avenue, Ferry Avenue, Main Avenue, and Riverside Avenue can also expect short-duration closures as overhead bridge work occurs. The project will also grind and inlay two blocks of Greene Street from Sprague Avenue to Main Avenue. The project will also include drainage and utility relocation. The construction sequence is subject to change.
