What to expect

Construction on the North Spokane Corridor River Crossing is expected to begin in the spring of 2023 and last through the 2025 construction season. During construction, in water work and work to abutments will likely cause delays and disruption north and south of the Spokane River.

Specifically work around East Carlisle Avenue, Upriver Drive and North Ralph Street north of the Spokane River could have intermittent impacts. South of the Spokane River, Ermina Avenue into Spokane Community College and South Riverton Avenue could see various impacts.

Coinciding with construction of the new mainline North Spokane Corridor drivable section over the Spokane River will be the Children of the Sun Trail bridge. The pedestrian only bridge will be built parallel to the NSC drivable lanes over the Spokane River.
