Project overview
This project will construct a shared-use path along State Route 155 Spur/Omak Avenue (milepost 79.31 to 79.91) to provide a designated route for pedestrians and bicyclists to the East Omak Elementary School and across the nearby railroad tracks. Traffic calming features such as speed feedback signs and pedestrian crossing warning lights may also be added to support safer pedestrian travel along and across the roadway.
What to expect
Construction is scheduled for the summer of 2027, during the school district's summer break to avoid conflicts with school activities. During construction, there will be shoulder closures and intermittent traffic control.

The SR 155 Omak Area - Paving and Complete Streets project will improve multimodal access to the East Omak Elementary School.
