Project overview
In 2024, WSDOT will replace worn asphalt on the south side of the 54th Avenue overpass at Interstate 5. The work zone will extend from the overpass to the turn lanes for 20th Street East. Preservation paving will occur on the I-5 ramps to and from 54th Avenue south of the highway.

What to expect
Travelers will see nighttime closures of the two northbound I-5 off-ramps and one on-ramp at 54th Avenue. Two weekend closures of the ramps and 54th Avenue from the overpass to the turn lanes for 20th Street East are also scheduled.
This project preserves the roadway surface on the south side of the 54th Avenue overpass and ramps to and from northbound I-5 in Fife.
