Fish barrier removal work begins Oct. 9 on SR 305 in Suquamish
SUQUAMISH – People traveling on State Route 305 should take note as a new fish barrier removal project is set to kick off between Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island.

SEATTLE – Drivers traveling across Lake Washington should plan ahead for a weekend State Route 520 closure starting Friday, Oct. 6. The SR 520 closure will span between Interstate 5 in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill beginning at 11p.m. on Oct 6, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9.

New Revive I-5 work in south Seattle starts Oct. 9
SEATTLE – Revive I-5 – work to preserve the state’s busiest freeway – has another major project about to get underway. This effort will improve the driving surface on northbound and southbound Interstate 5 between Lucile Street and the Duwamish River.
Ramp meters set to activate on eastbound SR 16 in Gig Harbor and Tacoma Oct. 16
GIG HARBOR – Travelers who use eastbound State Route 16 in Gig Harbor and Tacoma will soon see active ramp meters along the roadway.
Public invited to provide input for paths in the lower Yakima Valley
The public is invited to participate in an online survey to provide input on a plan to create paths in the lower Yakima Valley called the Heritage Connectivity Trails (HCT). Survey results will help Washington State Department of Transportation and project stakeholders design paths where they are needed most.

The SR 520 closure is from Interstate 5 to 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill and lasts from 11:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2.
Night closure of SR 507 near Bucoda begins Thursday, Sept. 28
BUCODA – Travelers will need to plan for a night closure along a short segment of State Route 507 south of Bucoda. From 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 to 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, the highway will close to all travelers.
New ramp meter from 24th Street East to northbound SR 167 in Sumner going live Oct. 9
SUMNER – Beginning Oct. 9, a new ramp meter at the 24th Street East on-ramp to northbound State Route 167 in Sumner will activate when congestion builds near Steward Road.
Northbound US 101 Riverside Bridge in Hoquiam overnight closures resuming the week of Sept. 25
At the beginning of summer, we kicked off a project to repair the machine rooms that help operate the northbound US 101 Riverside Bridge in Hoquiam. Crews will be able to complete the project the week of Sept. 25.
