The town of Naches, the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments and the Washington State Department of Transportation are studying ways to improve safety and bicycle and pedestrian connections along US 12 in Naches. A second public survey on the subject will help in that work.

SEATTLE – Drivers traveling across Lake Washington should plan ahead for a weekend State Route 520 closure starting Friday, Oct. 6. The SR 520 closure will span between Interstate 5 in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill beginning at 11p.m. on Oct 6, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9.

SEATTLE – Revive I-5 – work to preserve the state’s busiest freeway – has another major project about to get underway. This effort will improve the driving surface on northbound and southbound Interstate 5 between Lucile Street and the Duwamish River.

Public invited to provide input for paths in the lower Yakima Valley

The public is invited to participate in an online survey to provide input on a plan to create paths in the lower Yakima Valley called the Heritage Connectivity Trails (HCT). Survey results will help Washington State Department of Transportation and project stakeholders design paths where they are needed most.

SEATTLE – Drivers traveling across Lake Washington should plan ahead for a weekend closure of State Route 520 starting late Friday evening, Sept. 29. The SR 520 closure is from Interstate 5 to 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill and lasts from 11:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2.

Night closure of SR 507 near Bucoda begins Thursday, Sept. 28

BUCODA – Travelers will need to plan for a night closure along a short segment of State Route 507 south of Bucoda. From 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 to 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, the highway will close to all travelers.
