The SR 3 Mason Lake Road Roundabout Pre-design is underway. The pre-design is expected to be complete in May 2025. As part of the pre-design, we are collecting traffic information and will work with project partners and the community to inform the design of the roundabout.

Purpose
WSDOT routinely reviews intersections on the state highway system. We look for locations that are at the highest risk for severe crashes. Then we look for ways to reduce potential crashes. As a result of the review, we will replace the existing stop sign with a single lane roundabout at the intersection of SR 3 and Mason Lake Road, near Mason Lake.
