The Complete Streets Pre-design Study for the State Route 141 Bingen to White Salmon – Paving project is underway and expected to be completed late 2024.
Purpose
This project will repave SR 141 from milepost 0.00 at the intersection of SR 14 in Bingen to milepost 1.77 west of Jewett Lane in White Salmon. The pre-design study will include a Complete Streets analysis to identify improvements for pedestrians and bicyclists traveling through the area.
Complete Streets is an approach to planning, designing, building, operating and maintaining the transportation system to allow for safe and convenient access to destinations for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists and transit riders.
Outreach events
At an open house this summer, we’ll invite the community to learn about the preliminary Complete Streets plan and share their feedback.
We’ll host another open house this fall to present the proposed plans and timeline.
