Southbound US 101 on-ramp northbound I-5 may close during the following times and days:

  • 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday to 4:30 a.m. to each following day.

Single lane closures of the southbound US 101 on-ramp to northbound I-5 could happen during the following times and day:

  • 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday to 6 a.m. each following day.
  • 11 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. the following day.

Depending on the weather, the work will continue at this location until early September.

Drivers are urged to avoid distractions, follow the speed limit, and give workers the room they need while traveling through the work zone.

Paving completed

Contractor crews have replaced asphalt on the left lane of southbound US 101 between Mud Bay Road and Crosby Boulevard. Crews also installed fresh asphalt in the right lane of US 101 between Black Lake Boulevard and the on-ramp to southbound I-5. Three highway ramps also were paved. Crews will return after a curing period to install permanent lane markings.
