Project overview
Crews working for WSDOT built a replicated stream between Coffee Creek and Goldsborough Creek in Shelton. The project also rebuilt both southbound on- and off-ramps at the US 101/West Shelton/Matlock interchange.
What to expect
This project is complete and you should not expect any construction-related delays.
Crews removed barriers to fish at this location by realigning a portion of Coffee Creek.
The project is part of WSDOT's ongoing efforts to remove barriers to fish under state highways.
Crews also made interchange enhancements to the southbound US 101 exit to City Center/Matlock and the West Shelton Matlock Road on-ramp to southbound US 101. Both ramps were rebuilt into a diamond interchange.
