Project overview
This project adds capacity for both directions of I-90 between Eastgate and West Lake Sammamish Parkway interchanges by restriping the roadway and adding an auxiliary lane. Crews also built sound walls in strategic locations to minimize traffic noise.

What to expect
The construction of the auxiliary lane and soundwalls is complete. Some outstanding punch list items remain, so people who travel in the area may notice contractor crews working on I-90 or finishing landscaping on surface streets near the soundwalls.
Auxiliary lanes were added in both directions of I-90 between Eastgate and West Lake Sammamish Parkway, along with sounds walls at specific locations to reduce traffic noise.
