Project overview
In 2024, crews working for WSDOT will re-establish fish habitat in the Pilchuck River along State Route 92, just south of Sleepy Hollow Road, near Granite Falls. This project will replace large woody debris constructed as fish habitat in 2016, much of which has washed away. This project will use a more durable approach than was used in 2016.
What to expect
For 10 weeks, shoulder closures, single-lane reductions with flagging and intermittent full roadway closures are planned just south of Sleepy Hollow Road. Drivers may also experience short delays when trucks hauling material leave and enter the highway. Work is planned to occur during the day from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
