What to expect

Contractor crews working on behalf of the Washington State Department of Transportation expect to begin construction of this project in July 2022.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures throughout the project.  To complete construction crews will fully close SR 546 (East Badge Road) from just east of the SR 539 Guide Meridian intersection to just east of Double Ditch Road for 96 consecutive hours. A marked detour using other SR 544, SR 9 and SR 539 is available to move traffic around the work zone. Travelers can expect to see advance warning signs posted in the area five days before the closure begins so they can plan their route and adjust their travel time. This detour will not coincide with the Northwest Washington Fair.

SR 546 Pepin Creek and Duffner Ditch Fish Passage site located along a half-mile stretch of SR 546 (East Badger Road) between SR 539 (Guide Meridian) and Double Ditch Road.
