Project overview
This project, located in Snohomish County included paving along State Route 530 between milepost 35 to 36, 38 to 40, 42 to 48 as well as on several bridges along the corridor.
The asphalt on this stretch of SR 530 has outlived its anticipated lifespan. Through the years, cracks, ruts and potholes have developed. These make the roadway uneven, allowing water to pool and reducing tire traction. Removing the old, worn out asphalt and replacing it with new pavement will provide for safer driving conditions and extend the life of the highway.
What to expect
This project was completed in September 2023. Travelers should not expect to see any construction-related delays in the project area.
