Project overview
This emergency project took place at two sites on SR 112 in Seiku: at milepost 4.6 near Rasmussen Creek and at milepost 11.4 on the Hoko River.
At Rasmussen creek, construction crews rebuilt and replaced two areas of the embankment, which slid into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Work included placing various rocks and boulders, as well as ditch and culvert cleaning.
At the Hoko River site, crews repaired the eroded riverbank. Work included layering logs with root wads sticking out into the river and then filling the hole with rocks. Crews also performed landscaping work and replaced a guardrail.
