Purpose
A pre-design study was conducted at the intersection of SR 166 and Bay Street, Bethel Avenue and Maple Street in Port Orchard. The existing traffic signal at this intersection has reached the end of its useful life. This in-depth review included collaboration with local business owners, City of Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Kitsap Transit, Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, the Suquamish Tribe, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
