In 2021 we replaced an aging concrete barrier and screens that reduce headlight glare between the eastbound and westbound lanes on SR 18 between Weyerhaeuser Way and SR 164 in Auburn.

What to expect
Work is complete. The new screens on top of the barrier will limit the glare from headlights of vehicles traveling in the opposite direction.
Crews replaced the old concrete barrier in the median of SR 18 between the eastbound and westbound lanes. The old barrier was worn out and had broken and rusted connecting parts.
