Other ferry systems

There are several other ferry systems in our region. If you are looking to travel to a specific destination not served by Washington State Ferries, you may need to travel on one of these other services:

  • B.C. Ferries - Vehicle and passenger service on 25 routes in British Columbia, Canada
  • Black Ball Ferry Line - Vehicle and passenger service between Port Angeles and Victora B.C.
  • Victoria Clipper - Passenger only service between Seattle and Victoria, B.C.
  • King County Water Taxi - Passenger only service betwen Vashon Island and Downtown Seattle, and between Alki (West Seattle) and Downtown Seattle. Operated by King County, Washington
  • Kitsap Fast Ferry - Passenger only service between Bremerton and Downtown Seattle, and between Kingston and Downtown Seattle. Operated by Kitsap County, Washington
  • Keller Ferry - Vehicle and passenger service crossing the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. Operated by the Washington State Department of Transportation 
  • Guemes Island Ferry -  Vehicle and passenger service between Anacortes and Guemes Island. Operated by Skagit County, Washington
  • Lummi Island Ferry - Vehcle and passenger service from Gooseberry Point to Lummi Island. Operated by Whatcom County, Washington
  • Steilacoom Ferry - Vehicle and passenger service between Steilacoom, Anderson Island, and Ketron Island. Operated by Pierce County, Washington
  • Gifford-Inchelium Ferry - Vehicle and passenger service crossing the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. Operated by the Colville Confederated Tribes
