Connecting Washington
Connecting Washington funding is distributed to projects that help preserve state's highway system and reduce congestion in the central Puget Sound area. Program funding also improves freight transportation reliability across Snoqualmie Pass and strengthens transportation to national and international markets.
Transportation Partnership Account
The Legislature passed a transportation revenue package in 2005 to fund projects across the state over 16 years, although some of WSDOT's ongoing mega projects involve TPA funding.
Nickel funding package
Enacted for transportation by the 2003 Washington Legislature. The revenue package funded 158 projects over a 10-year period.
