Travel Information background

WSDOT provides real-time updates about traffic, construction, and weather events to inform travelers of roadway conditions. WSDOT develops its website and mobile applications to improve access to this information.

WSDOT also tracks the annual performance of select state-owned facilities through its Multimodal Mobility Dashboard. The MMD features highway analyses focused on the state's most-traveled corridors, as well as a closer look at congestion and the strategies used to mitigate it: public transportation and WSDOT's Incident Response program. Where data is available, the MMD also analyzes multimodal freight mobility as well as travel by airplane, ferries, passenger rail, and walking and biking.
