An Approach for Estimating Infiltration Rates for Stormwater Infiltration Dry Wells

Description: This report describes an approach for estimating infiltration rates for dry wells that are constructed using standard configurations developed by the Washington State Department of Transportation. The approach was developed recognizing that the performance of these dry wells depends upon a combination of subsurface geology, groundwater conditions, and dry well geometry. The report focuses on dry wells located in unconsolidated geologic materials.
