Airports only have two weeks left to submit applications for the second round of 2013–2015 airport grants. During this round, the Washington State Department of Transportation anticipates awarding $1.9 million for airport projects.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. April 30. Qualifying projects should be targeted for completion by June 30, 2015.

As part of this round of grants, WSDOT will also implement its new Statewide Capital Improvement Program (SCIP). Airports must apply for projects included in the SCIP, and WSDOT will prioritize applications based on their SCIP project scores.

Potential grantees can fill out the online application and Airport Aid Application Checklist. Airport Aid Grant Assurances are now required along with the application package.
