About This Byway

Discover the charming and pristine beaches along this secluded byway, ranging from boardwalks to pristine pocket coves sheltered by rugged cliffs. To the north lies the reservation of the Quinault Indian Nation, "people of the canoe and cedar tree." The byway follows a major migratory route that becomes a resting and feeding ground for hundreds of thousands of shorebirds each spring.
