Tacoma Area Attractions

Tacoma Convention & Visitor Bureau

Enjoy great food, live music and waterfalls in downtown Tacoma's Theatre Square Park, specialty shopping in Antique Row, a stroll along Tacoma's scenic waterfront, and visits to the many museums including the Art Museum, Glass Museum, Children's Museum and the Washington State History Museum. Don't forget to stop by the Bridge of Glass, Tacoma's new Convention Center, and Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, and W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory. Explore our many islands in the Puget Sound by taking a ferry ride from Tacoma or Seattle. Check the Upcoming Events calendar for the Tacoma Dome to take in a concert or sporting event. If you're a baseball fan, the Tacoma Rainiers are currently scheduled for two home games during the week of NTPAW. While you're this close to Olympia, visit the state capitol, just 40 minutes from Tacoma.
