From north to south, starting at the Canadian Border, Interstate 5 runs through Seattle down through Oregon and ends in Southern California in the San Diego community of San Ysidro. Our major bridges include:

The new Tacoma Narrows Bridge opened July 15. This is the longest suspension bridge built in the United States since 1964.   Tacoma Narrows Bridge

The Hood Canal Bridge connects the Olympic Peninsula and the Kitsap Peninsula across the Hood Canal. It is 7,869 feet long, making it the longest floating bridge in the world over saltwater.   Hood Canal Bridge
