I-5 - SR 510 Interchange - Reconstruct Interchange

Description: Crews are converting the existing interchange into a diverging diamond interchange. All users of this interchange are strongly encouraged to sign up for email updates and see more at the project webpage.

In general, the overpass is open to all travelers most of the time. The schedule below details what travelers can expect during upcoming scheduled roadwork. 

Around-the-clock

  • Travelers using northbound Marvin Road are encouraged to plan ahead for congestion and delays.
  • The northbound right lane is open for through traffic. The northbound left lane is a left-turn only to southbound I-5.  
  • This temporary change, which could extend through July depending on the weather, will create congestion and delays for northbound travelers.​

Work Schedule: 10:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, July 13-14 to 4 a.m. each following day.

Description: Northbound single lane closures for crack sealing. 
Work Schedule: 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 to 4:30 a.m. the following day.

Description: Southbound shoulder closure for traffic data equipment repair. 
Work Schedule:  7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. 

Highway: US 12 Region: Olympic County: Thurston Location: Milepost(s) 38.8

Description: Crews will build a modern roundabout at the intersection of US 12 and Anderson Road. Travelers will keep moving with a single-lane of alternating traffic with temporary traffic signals and a reduced speed limit. 
Work Schedule: See below: 

  • Travelers using the intersection of US 12 and Anderson Road Southwest near Oakville will see a temporary traffic signal. The new temporary traffic signal will help keep traffic moving around the clock as crews build the new roundabout.
  • The US 12 speed limit approaching the work zone is reduced to 25 MPH. Travelers are encouraged to watch their speeds and give crews the room they need to work.
