Rural Transportation Assistance Program

The Rural Transportation Assistance Program 5311(b)(3) provides a source of funding to assist in the design and implementation of training and technical assistance projects and other support services tailored to meet the needs of transit operators in non-urbanized areas. Rural public transportation operators receive training and technical assistance through the program. As detailed in the table below, WSDOT provides funds to organizations to deliver eligible activities in four catergories: training, technical assistance, research, and related support services.
