Blocking Incidents
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is closed for the season due to adverse road and weather conditions. The closure is from the Arch at the park boundary near milepost 2 to the junction of SR 123 and SR 410.
  • SR-410 Chinook Pass is closed for the season. Eastbound traffic is closed at milepost 57, Crystal Mountain Boulevard, 12 miles west of the summit. Westbound traffic is closed at milepost 74.5 Morse Creek, 5 miles east of the summit.
  • US 395 northbound MP 17 to 18, Sunday, May 16 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a lane closure and rolling slow downs for sign replacement and pavement makings.
Construction Closures
  • On Sr 24 between milepost 43 and 45 (Vernita), Tuesday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor is installing new signs.
  • On Sr 24 between milepost 0 and 22 (Vernita to Wanapum Dam), Wednesday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor is installing new signs.
  • Beginning on Monday, May 3 through Wednesday, May 12: travelers on both directions of SR 142, between Klickitat Appleton Road and Snyder Creek, will alternate intermittently through a single lane using a portable automated flagging device, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for pavement repair work.

    Note: Travelers should slow down as they approach the work zone and expect delays.
  • Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, May 10 through 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 13, travelers on both directions of US 97, between Indian Service Road and Wilson Charley Indian Reservation, will alternate through a single-lane, with flaggers daily, for bridge replacement work.

    Note: Travelers should slow down through the work zone and plan ahead for delays of up to 20 minutes.
  • SR 225 MP 2 to MP 12 Tuesday May 11 to Thursday May 13 piloted traffic control 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for construction work.
  • SR 240 milepost 38: Wednesday May 12 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., flagger control of Columbia Center Blvd at the intersection of EB 240 off Ramp, EB 240 on ramp and Columbia Center Blvd for the phasing in of the new signal.
  • SR 221 southbound MP 12 and MP 14 Sellars Rd Weigh Station, Wednesday May 12 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. , there will be traffic control with short delays to repairing sensors for the weigh station This work is weather dependent.
  • SR 823 MP 2 to MP 5 Selah: Single lane flagger controlled pilot car directed traffic for pavement repair Thursday May 13 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday May 14, there will be a 10 ft width restriction.
    Friday May 14 from 7 p.m. to Saturday May 15 at 7 a.m., there will be a 10 ft width restriction.
  • US 97 both directions MP 57 to MP 61, Wednesday May 13 and Thursday May 14 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be flagged traffic control operations for roadway sealing work.
  • SR-224 milepost 5 near West Richland: Drivers can expect single lanes closures as crews widen the highway. The posted speed limit is reduced to 40 mph.
  • SR 410 MP 109 to MP 115, Monday May 10 to Thursday May 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be pilot car traffic control operations for ditching work.
