Needs & benefits

Due to recent development, the US 395 and Ridgeline Drive intersection is experiencing increased congestion. This is a four-lane limited access highway connecting I-82 with I-182 through Pasco and Kennewick. This project will reduce congestion and collisions, and improve access with the construction of a new grade separated interchange.

During construction of the US 395 bridge over Ridgeline Drive, a detour route will be in place for US 395 traffic. There will be one northbound lane and two southbound lanes with a median barrier along the detour. The detour route will be east of US 395.

This project is in collaboration with the City of Kennewick. The City of Kennewick will be designing the project and WSDOT will manage the construction.
