Needs & benefits

In late 2020, crews repaired damaged sections of rockfall fence along SR 4 between mileposts 46.98 to 47.65 near Oak Point in Cowlitz County. Crews also removed rocks and trees that built up behind the rockfall fence. This project work helps to reduce the possibility of emergency closures and traffic delays due to rockslides.
