Needs & benefits

The bridge decks on the Yakima River Bridges seven miles west of Ellensburg and two miles east of Cle Elum are showing signs of deterioration. This project repairs and resurfaces the existing bridge decks in both the eastbound and westbound lanes, which will extend the life of these bridges for decades to come.

  • Construction begins - Spring 2018
  • Construction complete - Fall 2020
