Needs & benefits

Asphalt in this section of I-90 between the Tokio interchange and Lincoln County Line has reached the end of its usable lifecycle. This project will rehabilitate roughly 8 miles of Interstate 90 in both directions by grinding out the current pavement and inlaying new HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) on the roadway to create a smoother ride.

Timeline

The project is currently on ad. Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2021 with completion sometime in the summer.
