MUKILTEO – The state’s new Mukilteo Multimodal Ferry Terminal, Washington State Ferries’ first new terminal in 40 years, officially opens with the arrival of the ferry from Clinton at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29.  The terminal replaces the old, cramped 63-year-old facility one-third of a mile to the west. The Mukilteo/Clinton route is one of the state’s busiest, carrying over four million riders each year.

MUKILTEO – People who use the Mukilteo/Clinton state ferry route will need to make alternate plans for much of the day Tuesday, Dec. 29. Washington State Ferries will suspend service on the run for 18 hours total, including the first 13 hours of the day’s sailing schedule, in preparation for the opening of the new Mukilteo multimodal terminal that evening.

SEATTLE – Starting Sunday, Oct. 25, Washington State Ferries will restore daily two-boat service on the Seattle/Bremerton route. The run has been operating without one of its normal two vessels since March 29 due to the pandemic.
