WSDOT invites community members to learn more at an open house on April 18.

PASCO – Community members, local businesses, and others who use the US 395 corridor from Pasco to Ritzville are invited to an open house to learn about new safety improvements for the highway.

Last year, the Washington State Department of Transportation analyzed 10 intersections along this corridor. Based on this analysis, seven of those intersections will receive safety improvements, such as acceleration, deceleration, and left-turn lanes along with other safety improvements that may include increased lighting and signage in the seven intersections.

With design work on this $15 million Connecting Washington project complete, WSDOT is ready to present the final plans to the public. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2019, with completion expected in fall 2020.
