I-5 - NB Marine View Drive to SR 529 - Corridor and Interchange Improvements

I-5/NB 12th Street NE Bridge – Girder Replacement
Timeline: August 2022-winter 2023
During fall 2022, we will have contractor crews replace the damaged girder on the 12th Street Bridge over Interstate 5 between Everett and Marysville. In addition to replacing the girder, part of the bridge deck and barrier will be rebuilt.

I-5/NB Lowell Rd to Snohomish River - PCCP & Expansion Joints Rehab
Timeline: Fall 2022 - Fall 2023
We will rehabilitate more than 3 miles of pavement, replacing broken panels and grinding the surface to eliminate ruts worn by decades of vehicles. In addition, we’ll replace expansion joints on four bridges. This project is combined with another rehabilitation project on I-90 to reduce costs.
