I-90 Geiger Interchange Improvements

Project overview

Due to significant growth on the West Plains, three new roundabouts will be constructed at the Geiger/Grove Road interchange with I-90. The reconfigured interchange at Geiger Boulevard and I-90 will provide for more efficient vehicle movement. Improvements include interchange ramp terminal intersection roundabouts and a roundabout at the intersection of Geiger Boulevard and Grove Road to the north of I-90.

What to expect

Work on the Geiger interchange improvement project kicked off on April 12, 2021. Crews completed work on the third of three roundabouts on Monday, November 1. The loop on-ramp to eastbound I-90 from Grove Road remains closed. Drivers needing access to eastbound I-90 will travel through the roundabout to the directional on-ramp during the closure.

All other minor work, including striping, electrical and seeding will be completed in the spring of 2022.
