    • 9-03.12(2) Gravel Backfill for Walls

    • 9-03.14(2) Select Borrow (greater than 3 ft below subgrade and side slope)

    Product Restriction :
    <br><b><u>Tier 1 and Tier 3:</u></b><br>Need to provide toxicity testing and certification of toxicity characteristics in accordance with Section 9-03.21(1).<br> <br><b>The PEO shall visually inspect the recycled material delivered to the job site to ensure it contains no more than 1% of adherent fines, organic matter, plastics, plaster, paper, gypsum board, metals, fabrics, wood, tile, glass, asphaltic materials, brick, porcelain, or other deleterious substances not specified in Standard Specification 9-03.21(1)C. If the inspection indicates the material may exceed these limits, the PEO shall collect a sample per WSDOT Errata for AASHTO R 90 for testing to confirm the percentage.</b><br>

    Acceptance Code : 1175
    Code Description : Acceptance is based on Toxicity Test Report and Certification of Toxicity Characteristics in accordance with Section 9-03.21(1) and Field Testing for Grading, Sand Equivalency and/or Dust Ratio in accordance with Sections 4-04 and 9-03.
