Vehicle speed report

Find vehicle speed data from our network of traffic recorders permanently installed in Washington state highways. This data may be used to evaluate vehicle speed trends to assist in highway design and safety improvements.

The speed report published annually and quarterly is a source of data for state highways.

It supplies data to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Traffic Safety Commission, highway designers, engineering consultants, Washington State Patrol, regional traffic and planning offices, other state departments of transportation, private citizens and private business/firms.
