WSDOT to present options designed to improve safety at US 2/Colbert Road intersection north of Spokane

Upcoming meeting a follow up to concerns raised last November

COLBERT – The community is invited to a Jan. 16 public meeting to discuss safety improvement options at the intersection of US 2 near Colbert Road, located 14 miles north of Spokane.

Washington State Department of Transportation area leadership, project managers and engineers will present these preliminary designs and answer questions.

When: 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16

Where: Mountainside Middle School, 4717 E. Day Mt. Spokane Road, Colbert

Details: The public is invited to see safety improvement options for the intersection of US 2 near Colbert Road and ask questions.

As promised at a Nov. 1 public meeting where citizens voiced their concerns about collisions and driver safety at this intersection, WSDOT has developed four potential safety improvement options which will be presented and discussed at the Jan. 16 meeting.
