Overview
This project cleaned and painted two steel bridges over the Sol Duc River, protecting them from rust and corrosion. The last time these bridges were painted was in the 1990's. In addition to giving the bridges a face lift, painting work helps preserve and protect bridges from the elements.
Maintaining these bridges are more cost-effective tahn replacing them.
This project was completed in fall 2017.
Protects environment

Economic incentive
Maintained properly, the bridges will continue to keep up with the traffic demand for years to come.
