Future lane configuration

A map showing the future lane configuration on northbound I-5 near Seneca Street in downtown Seattle.
This project will add an additional lane between the Seneca Street off-ramp and the Olive Way off-ramp by replacing existing barriers, rails and curbs with a thinner barrier, reconstructing asphalt shoulders with concrete and restriping the roadway. It also will add a second lane to the Dearborn/I-90 on-ramp to northbound I-5. Both lanes will have ramp meters. The project also will add a ramp meter to the Cherry Street on-ramp to northbound I-5.
