How you benefit

Improves safety
Repaving the highway preserves the highway creating a smoother ride and reducing the need for emergency repairs. This repaving project included new striping to improve reflectivity and visibility for travelers.

Economic incentive
Repaving this stretch of I-5 extends the life of the highway. It reduces the need for emergency repairs, which are costly to taxpayers and can cause unwanted congestion during rush hour or other unexpected times.
