A map of the greater Puget Sound area showing the status of HOV lane projects on the major highways. Most of I-5 has HOV lanes, while additional HOV lanes are planned south of Tacoma. I-405 has mostly Express Toll Lanes (ETL), with additional ETLs planned between Bellevue and Renton and several direct access ramps. HOV lanes are under consideration on SR 512.
