    Wait Time
    A 60 minute advance arrival is recommended for vehicle traffic.

    Passengers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to sailing.

    Disability Information
    For disabled passengers traveling without a vehicle, Anacortes does have a ramp for loading and offloading the ferry. However, the San Juan Islands do not. All of the vessels on these routes do have elevator access.

    For passengers traveling in a vehicle who need access to an elevator, or who need extra space for a lift, please alert the ticket seller at the terminal prior to boarding the ferry so that we can meet your needs and make your trip as pleasurable as possible.

    Directions to Orcas Island Terminal
    The distance from Rosario Resort to the Orcas Island ferry terminal is approximately 13.7 miles. Rosario Resort is located at 1400 Rosario Rd, Eastsound, WA.
    From the resort turn left onto Rosario Rd.
    Turn left onto Orcas which becomes Olga Rd and stay on Olga Rd, it will become Horseshoe Hwy.
    At Orcas Rd take a left and follow to the ferry terminal, which is located1 Waterfront St, Orcas Island.

    Orcas Island Terminal Parking
    There are 40-spaces available near the upper tollbooth and there are approximately 16 angle spaces near the upper tollbooth. Parking is allowed on the county road for a short duration. There is high demand in the summer for parking.

    Lost and Found
    All lost & found items on this route are turned into the Anacortes Terminal. You can reach the Lost & Found Department at 206-515-3439. Their hours of operation are 10:00am to 6:00pm Thursday thru Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Our Information Agents can also assist you with lost & found inquiries from 7:00am through 5:45pm daily at 206-464-6400 or 1-888-808-7977.

    Orcas Island Bicycle Information
    When traveling on the ferries, bicyclists may bypass the line of vehicle traffic to get onto the ferry dock. Bicyclists should arrive 20 minutes prior to departure time to be loaded at the beginning of loading. If a bicyclist arrives after vehicle loading has begun, they will be loaded at the end of the load. Please follow the directions of our crew.

    Motorcycles at Orcas Island
    Motorcyclist may bypass traffic and proceed to the staging area. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk for inter-island travel. Loading Order bicycles, motorcycles, vehicles, late arriving motorcycles as space permits. Special Communication Recommended arrival time is 20 minutes prior to scheduled sailing time. On high traffic sailings, vessel overloads may occur for travel to Anacortes. To avoid missing a desired sailing, motorcyclists should arrive one hour prior to sailing.

    Trucks at Orcas Island
    WSF requires trucks with a gross vehicle weight of over 80,000 lbs and/or over 8’6” wide to have “travel approval” before crossing any of our routes. Vessels on this route have a limited height clearance and trucks may be loaded out of sequence.

    Trucks that have a gross vehicle weight of over 80,000 lbs but are hauling less than 80,000 lbs will need to provide a weight slip.
