WSF is currently accepting applications for the on-call Deck Hand positions for summer season 2010. If you are interested in working with the Terminal department please check back with us in January 2010.
These on-call positions are a great opportunity and the only way to begin a lifetime career in the fleet with Washington State Ferries, one of Washington State’s greatest attractions and marine highways and the largest ferry system in the United States!

Engine Room (Engineers and Oilers):
These positions are filled through the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association, including temporary, on-call, and an
occasional full-time replacement. You must contact the Union hall regarding these positions.
Crafts:
Maintenance and repair positions are filled through the various Metal Trades Unions. You must contact the Union hall
regarding these positions.
Management, Engineering, Information Technology and all other Administrative Positions
These positions are filled through the WSF Human Resources Office in downtown Seattle. Applications are accepted only when a
job bulletin is open. Information regarding open bulletins may be obtained by visiting the WSDOT Employment Web Site. This
lists open recruitments for the entire Department of Transportation – for openings specifically at Washington State Ferries,
look for "WSF" in the recruitment number.
