Evaluation of Puget Sound HOV Lane Hours of Operation: One-Year Results

Description: This report documents the analytical results of research sponsored by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to evaluate the effects of a pilot program to implement specific hours of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV)-only operation on selected corridors of the Seattle-area freeway HOV lane network. It summarizes the results of a preliminary analysis performed after two months of operation as well as analyses performed after one year of operation.
